Yes, you can make money with these programs. However many people mistake affiliate marketing for get-rich-quick scheme… these are typically the people who never make any money doing it.
It’s like anything, it take hard work. You may not have to invest a lot of money in getting started, but you definitely have to invest your time.
That said, if you put in the work, you become very successful and make a lot of money with affiliate marketing.

Yes it’s possible to make money with affiliate programs and adsense, but it takes some work to build your business to any level of profitability.
The pros are
your working hours are dictated by you.
You can replicate things once you find what works and what doesn’t. Because you are promoting other people’s products, there is no inventory, no need for a warehouse or customer services or anything like that. That aspect is taken care of by the merchant.
Oh and you can promote many different products.
All the information you need to set things up is available free online. You just have to do a search engine search
The cons
Needs some work to be successful in it
Statistics say that over 90% of affiliate marketers fail to make a decent living out of it
Lots of overhyped products on the market that give unreasonable expectations and take money out of yur pocket

You can make money with the legitimate ones, but the trouble is weeding out the scams from genuine ones. It also takes some time and effort as you have to advertise products and/or services as well as try to get signups under you. Try out this one. It is called SFI and is a subdivision of Carson Services Inc. If you check the BBB you will see that they have been accredited for 9 years. The key thing to remember is that not all affiliate programs work for everyone. You will not make a bundle of money overnight either. It will take some time and dedication. SFI is free to join and if you don’t want to spend money advertising, there are plenty of free methods as well. I have heard that you can make money faster if you spend money to advertise, but plenty of people have been successful starting off free. If you like you can take some of the money you earn and put it back in afterwards.
Try it out. The site gives you tons of resources. They have a daily training thing that sends you an email daily with tips for the first 30 days. They also have extensive resources to help you get started and the people in your upline will be very helpful. I talk to one of my upline via Messenger and have given my Team leader my messenger address as well. I hope that helps, and good luck no matter what you decide!

Ask at pro sites, like ones of speakers who go to Internet marketing events. One on this typs marketing would be Affiliate Black Book.
I saw the gent who’s created the Affiliate Black Book at an Internet marketing event in Vegas, and even reviewed his ebook. It was awesome, easy tips to use right away to earn some money.
